Goddest Mystique Johnson is a history-making force of resilience and vision. Originally from the South Side of Chicago, she was not born legally blind but overcame the obstacles of losing her sight to become the nation’s only nationally certified legally blind Credible Messenger Mentor. Her journey from hardship to leadership has led to extraordinary accomplishments: she was honored with her own day in Orlando, Florida on October 10, 2023, and in 2024 made history as one of the first legally blind African American women to receive the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award under President Joe Biden.

Beyond her advocacy, she is also a trailblazing fashion designer, founding Mystique Fashions and creating the groundbreaking Crowned N Color Collection, a tactile, Braille-inspired clothing line celebrating inclusivity and accessibility. Goddest Mystique Johnson continues to break barriers, using her voice, platform, and achievements to inspire others who are facing circumstances that once seemed insurmountable.
